Not for the feint-hearted, trio VD fly in the face of conventional jazz with a thrashcore soul. If you like pacy, restless rhythms, outrageous virtuosity combined with incredible energy then try this.
Needless to say this band has ruffled jazz world feathers across the UK at all the major jazz festivals. With a huge following in their home town of Leeds, they have gone on to win Mojo Magazine Best Jazz Album 2009 and an array of fantastic, and a little shell-shocked, reviews.
